With Style 40, SCHAEFER expands its portfolio with two elevator push buttons featuring a clear, modern design language: the round B 40 R and the double call button B 40 DPB. Both components have been developed for high-quality, design-oriented operating panels and combine a reduced design language with precise light guidance. A characteristic feature of Style 40 is the concave push plate.
The push button forms a subtle recess in the faceplate and closes flush at its edges. This creates a calm, seamlessly integrated transition between the push button and the panel.The two-colour permanent illumination creates a clear visual accent: a slim frame lights up in blue, while floor designations and symbols are backlit in white. In the acknowledged state, the illumination of the marking changes from white to blue. As a special case, the alarm button is continuously illuminated in yellow – both the symbol and the frame.
Floor designations and symbols are designed in a dot matrix style. In combination with the matt black push plate made of AlMg, EV6, this creates a strong contrast between the surface and the marking. This makes Style 40 particularly suitable for panels with a high-quality, technical aesthetic.
The B 40 R is designed as a round push button and is also available with a green ring to indicate the main exit floor. The B 40 DPB combines two call buttons in one compact, visually integrated component and is intended for up and down calls in landing operating panels.

The capacitive sensor buttons from the Rainbow Button series are designed for installation behind insulating materials such as glass, acrylic, etc. They are available in two sizes: RB 42 and RB 50. The buttons glow differently when idle than when activated. The light colors and brightness are freely adjustable. In combination with the Power Saver PS 42, it is possible to reduce the brightness based on motion or ambient light.
